Anu Thailam

A wonderful oil, Anu Thailam is the result of a very costly and time consuming process. A few drops administered into the nasal passages can instantly dispel or soothe the most stubborn, drug resistant headaches. It also is effective in alleviating sinusitis, rhinitus and other diseases of the head.

Ingredients: Sesame oil, Milk, Holostemma, Himalayan cedar, Coleus, Nutgrass, Cinnamon, Vetiver, Indian sarsaparilla, Sandalwood, Barberry, Licorice, Sedge, Aloeswood, Wild asparagus, Sugarcane, Bael tree, Indian crocus, Yellow nightshade, Small sago palm, Desmodium, Pseudarthria, Embelia, Costus, Cardamom, Chaste tree, Water lotus, Sida. Recommended use: 2-3 drops daily.

Bala Thailam

This is an outstanding general massage and head oil, with a lovely, light body and toasty fragrance. Good for all types, it has a strong rejuvenative action, making it excellent for treating exhaustion and delicate constitutions. Bala Thailam enhances complexion, is anti-inflammatory and strengthens the nerves, the heart and the immune system.

Ingredients: Black sesame oil, Pea pumpkin, Ivy gourd, Bael tree, Teaweed, Indian sarsaparilla, Hogweed, Henna, Clove, Himalayan cedar, Cardamom, Black henbane, Balinese pepper, Cumin, Licorice, Oak, Mace.

Balaswagandhadi Thailam

The rejuvenating properties of this thailam strengthen muscles and tone the nerves. Recommended for nervous conditions, muscular dystrophy, emaciation and debilitation.

Ingredients: Black sesame oil, Teaweed, Ashwagandha, Indian madder, Indian dill, Nutgrass, Licorice, Vetiver, Himalayan cedar, Turmeric, Blue water lily, Sacred pepper, Indian lotus flower, Indian ginger, Frangipani, Indian sarsaparilla.

Chandanadi Thailam

This is a wonderful cooling oil, excellent for Shirodhara and as a head oil, as well as for massage. Chandanadi is popular among Pitta types, and among those desiring relief from agitation and other Pitta emotions. When applied on the head it provides a calm, peaceful and refreshed mental state. It offers relief from insomnia, fever, headache, tension and burning sensations.

Ingredients: Coconut water, Cow milk, Black sesame oil, Wild asparagus, Bacopa, Aloe, Licorice, Coleus, Vetiver, Indian gooseberry, Indian sarsaparilla, Teaweed, Sugarcane, Cluster fig, Cuban laurel, Sacred fig, Banyan, Indian madder, Giant potato, Ashwagandha, Five flame bush, Indian lotus, Indian crocus, Blue water lily, Wild Himalayan cherry, Indian stinging nettle, Sacrificial grass, Wild sugarcane, Holostemma, Golden gram, Vigna.

Coconut Oil

Coconut is a cooling oil, beneficial for Pitta related or over-heated conditions. Rich in minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and glycerides, coconut oil is used internally and externally throughout the world. It treats skin conditions such as rashes, swelling, exzema and fungal infections. Because of its antiseptic qualities, it can be used on burns and cuts. When applied to the head, it soothes and cools the entire body, and has been used to keep the hair healthy, strong and shiny. Ingredients: Coconut oil. (Food Grade), Recommended use: Apply oil on entire body or affected part.

Dhanwantharam Thailam

This is our most popular general massage oil. Named for the patron deity of Ayurveda, it is a fragrant, earthy oil containing 28 herbs. Dhanwantharam is good for all body types, especially Vata and Pitta. Featuring a potent anti-oxidant effect, it rejuvenates the body and skin and increases immunity. Beneficial for neurological and rheumatic diseases, as well as chronic Vata conditions and pre- and post-natal care. It is also a fine Shirodhara and head oil.

Dhanwantharam 101

Dhanwantharam 101 is a powerful product, made by concentrating and reducing regular Dhanwantharam Thailam 101 times. This process increases its potency tremendously. Containing the same Wild mallow as the Thailam, in a Cow milk and Black sesame oil base, it offers anti-inflammatory, analgesic and nervine support for arthritis and rheumatic conditions. It is recommended for all body types, pre-and post-natal care, as well as all Vata vitiated conditions.

Karpoorathi Thailam

This is a unique oil, redolent with the fragrance of camphor. Its specific action is to dispel blockages and restore circulation. Karpoorathi is commonly used in combination with another oil (25% Karpoorathi mixed with 75% other), helpful in relieving respiratory congestion, cramps, numbness, pain, and swelling.

Ingredients: Coconut oil, Camphor. Recommended use: Apply lightly heated oil on entire body or affected part.

Ksheerabala Thailam

A marvelous oil with a mild 'toasty' fragrance, Ksheerabala is a nervine tonic with anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is similar to Mahanarayana, but more cooling. It is useful for fibromyalgia, arthritis, burning sensation, central nervous disorders and insomnia. Good for massage and especially for Shirodhara and as a head oil. Ingredients: Black sesame oil, Cow milk, Teaweed, Classical Text: Sahasrayogam. Recommended use: Apply lightly heated oil on entire body or affected part.

Ksheerabala 101

Ksheerabala 101 is a powerful product, made by concentrating and reducing regular Ksheerabala Thailam 101 times. This process increases its potency tremendously. Featuring the Teaweed root, its properties are emollient, cooling, strengthening, anti-rheumatic, nervine, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Traditionally used for arthritis, numbness, injuries, insomnia and nervous disorders. Ingredients: Black sesame oil, Cow milk, Teaweed. Classical Text: Sahasrayogam.

Kunkumadi Thailam

Kunkumadi Thailam brings the benefits of Saffron to the forefront, as well as its costliness. Combined with Black sesame oil and Goat milk, the herbs used in this formula offer cooling, anti-inflammatory results to skin conditions. It has been used for Nasya to effectively treat dark circles under the eyes, black heads, acne, scars and pigmented skin. Mahanarayana Thailam

Mahanarayana is recommended for arthritis and other painful conditions. In addition, it is an excellent oil for athletes, as it helps to improve flexibility and refresh the muscles and joints.

Ingredients: Black sesame oil, Cow milk, Brahmin ginseng, Giant potato, Wild asparagus, Camphor, Saffron crocus, Vigna, Rock salt, Indian ironwood, Turmeric, Bitumen, Elecampane, Cardamom, Licorice, Nutgrass, Indian cassia, False daisy, Coleus, Sweet flag, Flame of the forest, Ironwood.
Classical Text: Bhaishajya Ratnavali. Recommended use: Apply lightly heated oil on entire body or affected part.
